The battle between cat pirates and village cats has begun!
History
- December 29, 2020 — Masahiko Nitanda approached Michitaka Tsuruta about developing a puzzle game. Development proceeds gradually, in parallel with other projects.
- October 9, 2021 — the title was decided: “Cat Pirates Match”.
- November 27, 2021 — a full set of mockup illustrations for the main screens (world map, game screen, title screen and more) was completed.
- September 26–29, 2024 — playable exhibit for four days at Tokyo Game Show 2024.

A game designer who has been making games since the retro-game era — Famicom titles such as “Solomon's Key”, “Tsuppari Sumo” and “Captain Tsubasa”. He doesn't set out to make unusual games, but that is often how they turn out. “Ideas are things that fall — things that come to mind.” His hobby is cycling. He is also a novelist.
